Position Description

Seattle University (SU) School of Social Work is partnering with Kaiser Permanente, the National Council for Wellbeing, and the Washington Council for Behavioral Health to create a regional Mental Health Workforce Accelerator program serving Washington State to increase the number of qualified mental health professionals with licensure, while increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in patient-facing mental health positions.

This position is under the leadership of the Project Director/Technical Lead and the supervision of the MSW Program Director. The position plays a key role in achieving the project's recruitment, placement, and retention goals of post-master level clinicians in partnering agencies to achieve their licensure. This is a grant-funded, benefit-eligible position with an end date of 4/15/2026.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration (20%)

* Engage critical stakeholders to support the collaborative implementation of the program.

Recruitment and Onboarding (20%)

* Recruit, enroll, and onboard candidates, providers, and academic partners.

* Ensure candidate and placement site recruitment and selection reflect the increasing diversity of clients and population needs.

Practicum Site Management (15%)

* Set up new practicum sites and student placements in the online practicum management system.

* Maintain system information by requesting information updates from users.

Training and Development (30%)

* Support and lead workshops and trainings for candidates and providers.

* Support post-Master's candidates in passing licensure exams and completing necessary internship hours.

Reporting and Documentation (15%)

* Complete program and placement site reports, including supervision hours.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree.

* Three to four years of education and experience in a relevant field.

* Working experience with Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, EXCEL, etc.).

* Demonstrated ability and experience using online data management systems.

* Experience scheduling and facilitating meetings.

* Detail-oriented, particularly in projects related to data entry and data management.

* Experience preparing and confidently presenting workshops and presentations in person and/or virtually.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Project management experience.

* All candidates must demonstrate commitment to diversity and the university's mission, vision, and values.

Preferred Qualifications

* A clinical master's degree.

* Experience using Qualtrix or equivalent use of similar software.

* Familiarity with the clinical licensure process, and/or interest in behavioral health workforce development field.

Compensation at a Glance

Salary:$54,500 - $67,500

Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, and not based on a candidate's gender or any other protected status.

Hybrid Eligible*

This position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after successful completion of an introductory work period of 3-6 months. This may mean that a hybrid eligible role will begin on-campus initially and then will transition to hybrid format following onboarding and training.
