You'll love the day-to-day care of patients and boarders including feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well-being of pets. Duties: - Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising - Clean and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for the animals - Assist with tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming - Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff - Administer medications and treatments as directed -Possibly assist with animal handling during examinations and procedures - Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment Experience: - Previous experience working with animals is preferred - Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques - Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus - Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with animal care - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment If you have a passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care, we would love to hear from you.
