We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Kennel Technician position. As a premier facility, Canine College offers a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with experts in the field of dog behavior and husbandry at our picturesque country estate located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Performing wellness checks. Administering medications. Preparing foods and optimizing nutrition. Grooming and bathing. Maintaining a clean facility. Interacting with clients. Qualifications: Strong work ethic with a love of dogs and other animals. Prior experience working with dogs is preferred, but not necessary. Must be reliable and punctual. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, walk up hills, and be on your feet for approximately 6 hours a day. Service-oriented with strong communication skills. Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather. Must demonstrate good judgment and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
