Job Description
* This is an exciting new, cross-functional growth role at IsoPlexis providing an opportunity to expand career scope and development at IsoPlexis while adding value to team and customers. The Key Account Manager (KAM) will oversee the relationships of the company with our most important clients. Successful candidates will have a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and how IsoPlexis fits into their workflow.
In This Role You Will Be:
* Responsible for obtaining and maintaining long-term key customers, expanding relationships, and growing business in the accounts.
* Well-skilled in building strong relationships (in person and virtual) with strategic customers and communicating their needs back internally to complete the relationship feedback loop.
* Able to dive deep and identify building blocks for immediate and long-term needs to promote our products, solutions, brand, and technology to achieve mutual satisfaction.
* The go-to solution owner and trusted liaison to ensure account success top to bottom serving as the pivot point communication link between customers and internal teams.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of customer-facing experience in field sales, business development, or key account management providing solutions based on customer needs.
* Minimum degree requirements (preferably MS or MBA+) with a background in science working at the bench.
* You must be customer-centric, action-oriented, and outgoing with experience using a CRM (SFDC required) to forecast and track opportunity stages while meeting tight quarterly timelines.
* Strong teamwork, communication and presentation skills are a must.
* Aptitude in building relationships and closing deals with professionals at all levels within an organization (scientist, director, VP, and C-suite) to meet and exceed quota targets.
* Excellent organizational skills with a knack for quick problem solving and negotiation.
* Ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the east region.
Breakdown of Core Responsibilities
* 80% -Key Account Management, Proliferation, and Customer Engagement
* Lead face for customer engagement/customer care for key accounts to proliferate and build business within accounts to meet and exceed quota targets.
* Primary liaison between customers and commercial teams - Applications, Sales, and Marketing.
* CRM (SFDC) record keeping and tracking of account network, forecast, metrics and growth trajectories reported out quarterly.
* Solution and project-based selling focus with emphasis on customer satisfaction and success.
* 10% -Application Development & Voice of Customer
* Work to close loop between customer-Application Development, Scientific Support, and Customer Success teams.
* 10% -Marketing/Market Development
* Work to close loop between Customer-Marketing-Application Development.
* Assist in what field needs are (marketing standpoint) and relay between Application Development and Marketing. Project-based / solution approach with consultative focus.
* Conference and vendor show activities to increase market awareness and presence.
