Marimekko North America is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team in New York City. In this role you support NA wholesale and manage accounts for profitable Marimekko business with consistent brand presence.

Your responsibilities include:

* Prospecting and new customer acquisition

* Achieving the numerical targets and objectives by customer

* Executing budgeting and estimates according to given guidelines

* Supporting Wholesale Director in account management

* Preparing monthly and quarterly business reviews - analysis and budget follow-up with possible action plans to ensure that the targets are being met

* Monitoring customers and ensures all up to date assets are shared

* Collecting customer insights and being responsible of keeping internal stakeholders updated for the market development and needs (merchandising, retail, marketing, VM)

* Guiding and overseeing customer orders to ensure the implementation of global guidelines (brand, marketing, VM, assortments) with localization when needed.

* Owning the seasonal selling campaign including sample curation, showroom set up, booking models/catering, order follow up

This is a full-time position in which you will report to the Wholesale Director, North America. The role will be based in New York City.

In order to succeed in the role, you?have:

* Positive and enthusiastic sales-minded attitude

* Proven track record of successful account management

* Strong analytical skills and P&L management

Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

* Ability to execute complex tasks & communicate with an international audience, including multiple time zone accommodations

* 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within an international consumer/retail/brand company

* A relevant degree
