Grace Management Group is a group of privately held gift and fragrance companies based in Spartanburg, South Carolina who have been leaders in the fragrance industry for almost 50 years. Our brands include The Willowbrook Company, Bridgewater Candle Company, VOTIVO, Greenleaf, NOTES, and Aroma Creations.

Since 1975, we have refined our expertise in fragrance, color, product formulation, and packaging trends to transform into one of the largest home fragrance manufacturers in the United States. Still family-owned and operated, the Grace Management brands have blossomed into international players, with our products currently being sold in over 90 countries. We recently acquired a company called Audrey's, a leader in the home decor and home accessories industry. We are thrilled to now add Audrey's to our family of brands.

We hire fun, friendly people and are currently looking to fill a Key Account Manager position for our regional and national retail chain clients.

Job Summary:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. The Key Account Manager is expected to gain a deep understanding of the clients business and industry, develop plans for each key account, and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that drive mutual growth. This role involves a combination of relationship management, strategic planning, and sales execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within each account by staying in consistent communication and efficiently resolving issues with quick top-notch service and creative solutions.
  • Serve as a product, company, and industry ambassador, educating customers on the potential and capabilities of our home fragrance product lineup.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify opportunities for growth, and address any concerns.

Strategic Planning:

  • Create and implement account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Analyze customer needs and market trends to propose solutions that align with the clients objectives and our company's offerings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.

Sales Execution:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts to expand the companys footprint.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new contracts and renewals.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance metrics and develop strategies to improve and optimize outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the product development, brand, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure that client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on identified product development that reflect customer requests, competitive land scape, and the retail industry.

Problem Resolution:

  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by the key accounts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Understand and prioritize tasks based on impact to overall business and strategic internal initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Customer Success, Customer Support, Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or strong skill transferable experience.
  • Proven experience building strong customer relationships and efficiently communicating internal and external voices.
  • Understanding of sales and account management principles.
  • 3 years in Customer Success, Consulting, Business Development, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Additional Information:

  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events (10-15%).
  • This position may occasionally involve working outside of standard office hours to accommodate client needs.
