This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:A fundamentalunderstanding of the imaging and healthcare industry and the current businessenvironment with the skills and ability to successfully manage and call on thehighest levels of the hospital for our Diagnostic Imaging products (CT, Angio,Cardiac Cath, MRI, PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, US, and Diagnostic X-Ray). This role serves as theprimary contact for prestigious large luminary key opinion leader account,hospital and health systems as they investigate the acquisition of Siemens Healthcareproducts and services. Responsibilities shall include developing longterm strategic plans for assigned accounts, generating contracts and proposals,planning customer meetings, developing and maintaining all C-Suiterelationships and establishing consultative solutions. Other responsibilitiesinclude maintaining satisfactory after sale relationships and communicatingcurrent market intelligence to various decision makers within theaccount. This role reports to theVice President, Zone General Manager for Siemens Healthineers. Responsibilities • Achieve businessobjectives for assigned territory (for example, penetration of account withproduct/solution/service offerings).• Will guide thedevelopment and execution of strategic account plans to ensure achievement ofassigned business goals and budgets.• Develops, buildsand cultivates long-term relationships with key management within the customerorganization.• Demonstrates keenunderstanding of how legislation impacts the healthcare business environment.• Assistsmanagement in devising sales plans and strategies, develop forecasts, budgetsand operating plans for product sales channels.• Will leadterritory team reviews and updates of account plan based on changing market,customer conditions, and competitive activity.RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience• BS/BA in relateddiscipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.• 3+ years of experience selling capital equipment intohospitals.• Consultative approach to customer with experiencedeveloping and closing large contracts.• Experiencecarrying large quotas and working with long sales cycles as well as demonstratedsuccess at meeting and exceeding those quotas.• Must have experience working with sales quotas,forecasting.PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging products and systemsapplications• Hospital consultative services experience strongpreference• An extensive knowledge of the assigned major (corporate)customer• Budget processes as they apply to customer buyingdecisionsSiemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
