The Key Accounts Associate will play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships and contributing to company growth through accurate quoting, effective communication, and cross-department collaboration. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle complex pricing scenarios, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive revenue opportunities within key accounts.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and provide accurate product quotes for current and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with Owners and Production Managers to ensure precise pricing and product availability.
- Follow up with customers, Production Managers, and Planners to confirm quotes and address inquiries.
- Assess material details, minimum yields, and catalog comparisons for quotes.
- Leverage sales opportunities through cross-selling, upselling, and introducing new products/services.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments impacting key accounts.
- Foster relationships with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, customer support) for seamless service delivery.
- Maintain expertise in customer service principles and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-focused sales environment.
- Basic knowledge of firearms or a strong willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with ERP customer service support software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on strategic sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Location & Commitments
- Full-time, permanent position located at facility in Paso Robles, CA.
- In-office work schedule: 5 days per week.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods in a stationary position.
- Frequent use of computer equipment.
Eligibility Requirements
- Pass pre-employment medical physical and drug screening.
- Clear a Federal Criminal Background Check (ATF permit requirement).
- Provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
