Key Account Technical SalesManufacturing firm serving Petro-Chemical, Chemical, Refining, and Power Generation seeks a key account technical salesperson.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The majority of our sales opportunities have a unique set of circumstances requiring a customized solution.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meet the sales goals established by the company
- Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory
- Reaching out to customers leads through cold calling
- Has regular and productive contact with customers and customer representatives and is often actively involved in the result of the sale
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service
- Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company's CRM software and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers
- Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies so that you provide and perform your duties as efficiently as possible
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years+ experience in heavy industrial sales, specifically outside/traveling sales
- Territorial vs local sales is a preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
- Customer service oriented and is driven by a high sense of urgency
- Ability to follow protocol, implement process, and think on your feet
- Very organized and extremely driven
