Key Data Operators are permanent intermittent positions, working up to 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday based on operational needs during the tax season (February to June). Overtime may be offered during this period. Positions may be extended to work beyond tax season if the workloads permit. Under the close supervision of the Tax Program Supervisor in the Information Capture and Banking Section, the Key Data Operator performs data entry on various workloads in a production environment. Key Data Operator tasks include: • Key, enter, and verify information from remittance/source documents following written/oral instructions • Perform efficiently, meeting production and accuracy standards • Offer keying procedure suggestions to clarify or improve work processing • Inform your supervisor of procedure and/or document problems for resolutions Tentative start date: February 3, 2025.
