Job OpportunitiesThe County of Cape May, Department of Human Services, is seeking candidates for the title of Keyboarding Clerk 1 for the Division of Social Services. Keyboarding Clerk vacancies may work within the programs of General Assistance (GA), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Medicaid, but may also be assigned to triage consumers at the front reception desk and in the call center.Requirements:Cape May County residency.Proficiency in keyboarding/typing.Customer service skills.Bilingual a plus.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Key entering information on various systems.Answering phone calls from consumers to assist with general, routine information, or triaging needs of face-to-face visitors who present to the agency.Utilize various systems to look up, track, and input consumer information.Document any consumer contacts and collaterals in the consumer case file.Receive, sort, and distribute mail.Assist with filing cases in the central file room.Skills needed:Knowledge of office routines and processes.Excellent organizational skills.Knowledge of basic computer programs and office equipment including, but not limited to the following: Microsoft Word, Excel, fax machine, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Interested and qualified candidates may forward their resume and application for employment to:Cape May County Department of Human Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
