Keystone 10 Million Trees Warehouse StaffRemember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is seeking staff for our Keystone 10 Million Trees Warehouse in the EPR Department to be based at CBF's Duncannon and Marietta Warehouse in PA. CONTEXT OF THE POSITION The Keystone 10 Million Trees Warehouse Driver(s) will assist the Tree Logistics Specialist and other warehouse staff at our Duncannon, PA (Perry county) and our Marietta, PA (Lancaster county) warehouses with organizing, loading, unloading, inventory, delivery of trees, tree shelters, supplies, tool trailers, and forklift operation. At times, the warehouse drivers may assist at tree plantings with logistical support.Essential functions include:1. Driving large commercial vehicles throughout Pennsylvania. Vehicles may include:a. Up to 26' long box truck (non-CDL)b. DOT licensed Ford F350 pickup truck with 18' trailer to haul skid loader or palleted tree stakes.2. Repetitive bending and lifting of 60+ pounds of up to 5' long bundles of materials or trees onto and off pallets, vehicles, trailers, and cargo containers.3. DOT Medical Exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification required upon hire ( 4. Ability to train to operate a forklift and/or skid steer to move pallets of product and load onto trucks; forklift/skid steer certification a plus.5. Sorting and inventory of products6. Acts as a CBF representative and provides excellent customer service when delivering product and trees to partners. 7. Cleaning of warehouse bays and trucks.8. Performs daily safety and maintenance checklists.9. Occasional support at tree plantings with using the skid steer and/or auger to prep planting sites, sorting/organizing materials, setting up tables, etc.10. Dates/Seasons required:a. Fall season is August-November, with hours typically not exceeding 30 hours/week. Very limited evening/weekend work (some Saturday or Sunday trailer deliveries).b. Spring season is March-May, with hours typically not exceeding 30 hours/week. Very limited evening/weekend work (some Saturday or Sunday trailer deliveries).c. Some additional hours are available during our off season as determined by the Logistics ManagerPREFERRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSSuccessful candidates should be able to bend and lift 60+ pounds independently and repetitively; have basic math skills; a clean driving record; truck driving, forklift, and skid steer operation experience; ability to provide their own transportation to and from work, and the ability to arrive to work on time. Forklift certification preferred. CDL is a plus, but not required.
