Summary/Objective The Kids Program Coordinator will create, set up, facilitate, and close down children's day camps, family programming, and youth programs at Tributary. They will also be responsible for caring for or renting recreation gear. Gear may include, but is not limited to, bikes, lawn games, paddle boards, bikes. The Kids and Family Program Coordinator will support other recreational activities and events throughout the year. Essential Functions
Create and/or facilitate engaging plans for programming for children and their families on and off property in all seasonsManage participants' physical and emotional safety/risk; respond to emergencies as they arise according to Tributary's policies and support structuresForm and manage a positive kids camp culture that is safe, curious, and funSupport the Recreation Department's daily and seasonal functions, including maintaining and renting gear and supplies and using a computer to complete daily essential functionsEstablish and maintain multiple channels of communication for programming, execution, relationship building, follow-up, debriefSafely drive large passenger vehicles or vehicles with trailersDrive a vehicle to shuttle members to and from the river or Grand Targhee ResortMaintain and care for program or department supplies and materialsLook for opportunities to work with new community partners and programsAdhere to all federal, regional, and local laws and guidelinesMarginal Functions

Work Environment The position operates mostly outdoors around the club through all weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, slipping, tripping, falls, cuts, sun exposure, and other injury-related hazards. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. Days and hours of work are based on availability and need. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and days and nights, with flexible hours. The schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments. Travel There may be minimal travel within the valley and over to Jackson Hole.
