In this role, you will work directly with builders and contractors to provide kitchen and bath solutions, primarily focusing on cabinets and countertops.
Position Overview:As a Kitchen and Bath Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of our kitchen and bath products to builders, contractors, and developers. You will act as the primary point of contact for your clients, helping them select the right products to meet their project needs, while ensuring a seamless sales process from initial consultation to final delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of the kitchen and bath market, product specifications, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients in the building and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities: - Sales Development: Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with builders, contractors, and developers to generate new business opportunities for kitchen and bath products, with a focus on cabinets and countertops.
- Product Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge of the company's kitchen and bath product offerings, particularly cabinets, countertops, and associated materials (e.g., granite, quartz, wood, laminate, etc.).
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients (primarily builders and contractors) to understand their project needs, recommend appropriate products, and create tailored solutions that fit their budget and timelines.
- Project Support: Work closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inquiry to product delivery, ensuring that all customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations, product demos, and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our kitchen and bath solutions.
- Quoting and Estimation: Provide accurate quotes, estimates, and proposals to clients based on their project specifications, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key builder and contractor accounts to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Product Ordering and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including the operations and logistics departments, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, product availability, and delivery.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to provide insights and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Customer Service: Resolve any issues or concerns clients may have with product specifications, delivery, or installation, ensuring a positive experience throughout the process.
Qualifications: - Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on kitchen and bath products (especially cabinets and countertops) preferred.
- Experience working with builders, contractors, and developers in the construction or home improvement industry is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building relationships with key clients.
- Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath products, including cabinets, countertops, materials, finishes, and design trends.
- Familiarity with building codes, construction practices, and the needs of contractors and builders.
- Skills:
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Ability to understand and explain complex product specifications to both technical and non-technical clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
