SUMMARY Assist in the kitchen with food preparation, dining room preparation and cleanup.
SCHEDULE Tuesday-Saturday from 3:00p-11:30p
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare foods assigned by the Cook, using daily menus.
2. Assist in preparing foods for special events.
3. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment.
4. Store food properly for infection control.
5. Participate in serving food.
6. Encourage residents to eat the meal and offer alternates.
7. Know residents by name and their food and beverage likes and
dislikes.
8. Offer second helpings to residents who may desire more food.
9. Clear tables when residents are finished eating.
10. Reset tables for the next meal.
11. Prepare beverages before meals.
12. Prepare and serve snacks to residents.
13. Clean equipment, appliances, floors, drains, storage area,
refrigerator, freezer and sinks according to schedule.
14. Stack, soak and run dish machine.
15. Soak and clean pots and pans.
16. Put away clean dishes, pots and pans.
17. Work with resident volunteers in the dining room.
