Description:

BASIC FUNCTION: Assists Food Service Coordinator with the daily functions of food preparation and service.

MAJOR DUTIES:

Unpacks, sorts and stores foods.

Assists Food Services Coordinator with the preparation of meals.

Cleans and maintains kitchen and dining areas, washes dishes, pots and utensils.

Serves meals to residents.

Fills in for other kitchen staff who are on leave.

Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

SCHEDULE: Full Time

RATE: $34,580 - $35,617 / year

LOCATION: NY, NY 10009

Requirements:

QUALIFICATION - EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 months related experience. Thorough understanding sanitary food handling and preparation process.
