Location: Plymouth,MA, USA
* Must be courteous to patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers, and other employees of the organization.
* Under the general supervision of the Dietary Manager, and or designee and within hospital and departmental policies and procedures is responsible for the following duties:
* Prepare and assemble cold food items in accordance with census and hospital specifications
* Set up patient trays according to menus and diet instructions; assist with delivery of trays when needed and return trays to dietary after meals.
* Supply floor pantries with needed listed food items. Clean pantries and clean and defrost refrigerators as assigned. Make and deliver requested between-meal nourishments.
* Assist in dish room with de-traying, dishwashing, and storage of clean dish items.
* Take fruit and vegetable inventory twice weekly, as assigned.
* Make coffee for Hospital meetings. Sets up hospital functions under supervision of the Food Service Manager or designee.
* Sweep and mop Kitchen, walk in, and storeroom floors daily. Other general cleaning as assigned.
* Wash pots, pans and utensils, and help with vegetable prep.
* Completes production for all dietary needs.
* Must wear facility provided identification badge.
