In addition to golf, the property offers luxury accommodations, real estate opportunities, elevated dining, a full range of off-course adventures, and various outdoor trails, embodying a reimagined vision for Florida golf and active wellness.Position OverviewThe Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in a restaurant or food service establishment. They are responsible for ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly by assisting in various tasks such as dishwashing, cleaning, and basic food preparation. The Kitchen Porter works closely with other kitchen staff members to uphold sanitation standards and contribute to the efficient functioning of the kitchen.Key Responsibilities
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals. Must ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to meet hygiene standards.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, including countertops, floors, equipment, and storage areas
  • Responsible for sorting and disposing of waste according to established procedures, promoting recycling and sustainability practices.
  • Portion prepared food items as required in a sanitary and timely manner in accordance with recipes, portion control, and presentation specifications.
  • Assisting with stock management tasks, such as receiving deliveries, storing goods, and rotating inventory
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing of kitchen and culinary equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
  • Maintain open communication with the BOH team.
  • Participate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas, including but not limited to, refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
  • Support others and foster a positive work environment.

  • Commitment to abide by all occupational health and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all Fire Safety Plans and Regulations.

Working Conditions
  • Primarily based in a fast-paced kitchen, supporting the culinary team with various tasks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions such as washing dishes and moving equipment.
  • Regular exposure to high temperatures from the sun, cooking equipment, and busy kitchen operations.
  • Strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and non-slip shoes.
  • Frequent cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
