Job Description:
Under supervision of the Head Chef, Assistant Chef, and Cold Food Production Coordinator, the Production Assistant is responsible for the following: Preparing and serving food items in dining halls Work independently and in a team setting within the cold food production area. Assist with set up, service, and clean-up of food serving line Follow appropriate food handling and storage procedures Serve food in serving line while adhering to portion control and serving procedures Monitor and record refrigerator or freezer temperature readings Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including related documentation Provide support and leadership to meet the goals of the cold food production area and may operate computerized board checking system and perform other cash transactions.
