DescriptionPosition Summary Employee will be responsible for the creation of confectionary and other edible products produced within the Marijuana Infused Products department. This position will need to accurately read and follow recipes, measure ingredients and craft edibles and related products in an efficient and productive manner. MIP Confectionary Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Create edibles and related products utilizing consistent recipes and practices
- Utilize a variety of kitchen and production equipment, as well as assisting with the upkeep of said equipment
- Communicate with the MIP Kitchen Supervisor supply needs
- Operate equipment and products in a safe and sanitary manner, including mixers, depositors, tempering machines and molds
- Assist MIP team with product creation, development, improvement of processes
- Assist MIP with other required tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Servsafe Certification upon hire or within the first 90 days of employment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Able to work well in a group or on their own
- Cannabis industry experience (not required)
- Prior kitchen, baking or related experience
- Food handling safety experience
