They maintain high standards of kitchen sanitation according to HCC standards. This position reports to the Executive Chef or Dining Services Director. We are looking for someone who is hard working and willing to learn. Room for advancement! Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen in accordance with Hulsing Corporation standards
- Safely and efficiently operate dish washing machine according to procedure manual
- Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing
- Remove from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken
- Stock delivered food and non-food items
- Keep stock rooms, coolers & freezers clean and ensures that food supply stocks are rotated, all perishables are covered, labeled, dated and stored properly.
- Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes
- Wash all carts and garbage bins
- Deep cleaning of kitchen floors, walls and equipment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Perform all duties in adherence to HCC standards.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all Members.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of HCC.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure equipment temperature maintenance.
- Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.
- Perform all duties in adherence to HHC standard. Adhere to all HCC policies and procedures.
- Affect budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
