KNOEBEL LUMBER SHOWROOM DESIGNER We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles, excellent communication skills and the ability to turn our client's ideas into a functional reality. This position reports to the Knoebel Lumber Manager. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities • Establishes and maintains customer relationships to grow profitable sales. • Create detailed designs using our in-house software • Awareness of the competition's products, pricing, and services relating to showroom sales. • Assisting showroom customers. • Stay current with industry trends, products and building codes. • Providing solutions for customer complaints. • Being familiar with our company's credit policy and terms of sale. • Maintaining skills to accommodate new building products and design software. • Will be required to work various shifts as project and lumberyard needs dictate, including evenings, weekends. • Assuming other duties such as workload and need dictate. Education and Experience • Must have 1 year of experience in kitchen & bath design. • Proficiency in 20/20 design software. • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Basic construction knowledge relevant to Kitchen & Bath Installation.
