A P Ventures has an exceptional opportunity with our elite client at NIH supporting their Genetic and Rate Diseases (GARD) program.
This position leverages expertise in clinical/health sciences to harmonize data from multiple publicly available sources and develop a robust rare disease ontology data pipeline. Responsibilities include prioritizing critical datasets for real-time updates, regularly assessing source systems and integration pipelines for reliability, continuously optimizing processes, and utilizing machine learning to proactively predict and mitigate data staleness.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Public Health or Health Informatics plus 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of clinical procedures, diagnostic methods, treatment protocols, and patient care pathways.
- Understanding of the patient journey, from admission and diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.
- Expertise in implementing or working with health informatics systems, decision support tools, or AI applications in healthcare to improve clinical workflows, reduce errors, and enhance patient outcomes.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Mondo Disease Ontology (MONDO), Orphanet and Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM)
- Knowledge of Palantir Foundry and Salesforce CRM
- Experience with NIH Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center
Key Competencies:
- Ability to analyze and interpret clinical data for decision-making or research.
- Adaptability in managing evolving information landscapes.
