The Knowledge Management Advisor (KMA) serve as the primary Knowledge Management (KM) representative for the Fort Sill Staffs, Brigades (BDEs), Air Defense Artillery (ADA)/ Field Artillery (FA) Commandants and U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) directorates for all KM related activities. Duties Include:
- Process Improvement, Identifying Knowledge gaps, and knowledge transfers using various collaborative Web Based Knowledge Environments (WBKE).
- Identify and recommend enhancements to the KM program and coordinate with the Web Engineer to make changes in the FCoE WBKE.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of content delivered to targeted communities through the various KM environments to determine if the current content is being consumed and is relevant to their knowledge requirements.
- Recommend content changes based upon results of the ongoing analysis.
- Develop strategies for using the various knowledge environments to achieve knowledge management objectives defined in the FCoE KM Strategic Plan.
- Develop and provide KM briefings and classes for FCoE staff and students. The focus will be on Professional Military Education classes.
- Participate in KM meetings to learn first-hand how effective or noneffective the current KM initiative is at achieving two-way communications between the generating and operating units.
Qualifications: - 10 or more years' experience supporting Air Defense or Field Artillery units at or above Battalion level
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
