Location: National Capital Region (NCR) (On-Site with Remote option as determined by client)
Clearance: Secret
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management or other related field of study.
Responsibilities:
Enable knowledge flow within Headquarters Air Force staff to enhance shared understanding, learning, innovation, and decision-making. This is achieved through effective information management, data analytics, systems integration and management, policy development, and virtual collaboration.
Functions and Tasks:
- AF/A3S Information Coordination and Information Management: Plan, coordinate, share, and control data and information assets to ensure they are effectively managed and utilized.
- Data Analysis: Identify and analyze data to support decision-making processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
- System Integration: Develop, plan, and integrate base communications systems to ensure seamless information flow.
- User Support and Training: Assist and educate users on authoritative data sources, data services, and presentation tools to enhance their ability to manage and use information.
- Information Systems Management: Manage information systems to ensure data is accessible, secure, and properly handled.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of knowledge across different departments to improve collaboration and efficiency.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce policies and procedures replated to knowledge management to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Virtual Collaboration: Provide meaningful situational awareness to division-level leaders through the ability to monitor, display, store, distribute, access, and shared information and knowledge.
Qualifications: The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Active Secret or above clearance.
- BA/BS degree, and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- DoD experience (preferably Air Force)
- Teams/SharePoint
Travel: Occasional local travel may be required.
