Job Description:
CTI is seeking an experienced Branch Office Manager with a proven track record in civil engineering consulting, responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing project teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects. Skilled in strategic planning, client relationship management, and operational leadership, with a focus on optimizing workflows and meeting client needs effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering practices, business development acumen, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to drive project success and support the growth of CTI Engineers' regional presence in Knoxville, TN.ResponsibilitiesManagementSupervise Branch Office employeesEnsure company policies and standards are followed at the branch office.Participate in development of goals for chargeability, mark-up, and bookings and assume responsibility for meeting goals.Work with project managers to see projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the company's quality management procedures.Strive to maintain employee morale and develop a spirit of cooperation with other branches offices.Advise and consult with executive team on matters related to office operations and performance.Deliver branch office annual report to shareholdersAdministrationCreate annual capital budget request for officeAssist in locating office spaces and negotiating leases.Maintain office equipment and file organizationHuman ResourcesMonitor workload and consult with executive team regarding staffing needs.Assist in recruiting and interviewingAssist employees in setting and meeting personal development goals.Provide input regarding annual salary adjustments for office employees.Conduct investigations and initiate disciplinary actions when necessary and appropriate.Business DevelopmentCoordinate and oversee business development activities for regionDevelop new clients and work with PMs on maintaining client relationshipsForecast future business opportunitiesCreate business development budgets and request marketing materials for the branch office.QualificationsTennessee Professional engineering registration (P.E.) required (or ability to obtain reciprocity)Minimum 10 years experience in the engineering consulting fieldRecord of success in marketing and business developmentGeneral knowledge of legal aspects of consulting engineeringGeneral knowledge of financial and business aspects of corporationsGood communication, writing, and speaking skillsWillingness to accept responsibility for performance of branch officeMust present valid United States work authorization (required)The firm is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and offers an outstanding benefits package:Medical & Dental insuranceAccrued paid time off & 9 paid holidays401(k) with match and no vesting scheduleHealth savings accountBasic life insurance/short-term & long-term disability coverage at no cost to the employeeBonus program and stock investment optionsFlexible hours and work scheduleTuition assistanceProfessional development opportunitiesThank you for submitting your application.
