First time parents based in NYC are seeking a newborn care specialist to help with their child due January 21st. Candidates should be able to commit to a period of6 months (and there may be an option to extend). The schedule will be 12 hour night shifts, 6 days per week.
There will likely be travel between the familys home in NYC, Jackson, WY, Martha's Vineyard, and additional domestic/international travel, so candidates should be willing and able to join the family, as needed. When traveling the family will guarantee 20 hour rates.
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Implementing an effective sleep routine that the familys nannies/parent can follow once the term ends
- Providing practical tools to enable the parent to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night
- Providing general support and assistance
- Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
- Travel experience is a huge plus, but is not essential
- The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional who is friendly, personable, and discreet
- US passport, Green Card or EAC
- COVID vaccinated, and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
- Passport ready and willing to travel, if required
- Hourly rates for nights $45-$60 GROSS
- Day Rates for Travel $700-1000 GROSS
