The Sustainability Co-op is responsible for supporting the enterprise environmental sustainability team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Project manage two to three projects supporting one of the strategic initiatives for the calendar year under the guidance of a subject matter expert
* Project Examples from past co-ops:
* Expand and launch the internal Sustainability Excellence Awards program
* Assist in the limited assurance data audit and data improvement plans
* Benchmarking of best practices for the hospitality business unit
* Scope 3 data tracking and gap closure
* Benchmark and propose a sustainable travel policy
* Develop and launch a sustainable project playbook of best practices
* Executive team goal setting workshop development
* Developing internal sharepoints and newsletters
* Data analysis and strategy development
* Developing SOPs for data management at the facility level
Skills/Requirements
* Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program from an accredited institution with a major in Sustainability, Environmental, Engineering, or Business with a sustainability focus
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $30.79 - $38.49. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's education and work location. This position may be eligible for benefits.
