We are currently looking for a Korean/ English Bilingual Maintenance Technician near Greenville, SC at an automotive parts manufacturer to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES for Korean/ English Bilingual Maintenance Technician:
Participate in maintaining the production equipment andinstall new machinery/parts including electrical and/or mechanical check-outs, set up, and basic machine operation.
Troubleshoot of electrical/electronic, mechanical hydraulic problem.
Cross-train on mechanical, electrical & electronic maintenance.
Advise and assist in selection and ordering of repair parts.
Lead continuous improvement project to resolve any production issues such as waste management, machinery downtime, defects/ quality etc.
Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
REQUIREMENTS for Korean/ English Bilingual Maintenance Technician:
1+ years of Manufacturing/ Mechanic Maintenance experience will be plus
Business-level in Korean and English language skills
Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel & Word
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Be able to manage multiple tasks
Good communication skills (Speaking/Writing/Reading)
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit,stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands.This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
