POSITION SUMMARY The Kripalu Shop Sales Associate supports the Kripalu Shop team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling all sales transactions of products in the Kripalu Shop. The ideal candidate should have excellent people and communication skills. Being detailed orientated with the ability to manage multiple priorities is essential. We are looking for a positive team player who thrives in retail and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Experience is preferred, but not required. We are more than able to train the right person! Schedule Requirements: - FT up to 40 Hours - Weekend availability - Ability to work closing shifts up to 8:15 PM ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Handles sales and money transactions at point of sale. - Provides excellent customer service. - Supports team in maintaining shop appearance. - Restocks inventory as needed. - Cafe duties including but not limited to brewing and grinding coffee - Assists in the resolutions of guest concerns. - Assists any department or areas within Kripalu as needs arise for the good of Kripalu as a whole. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 6 hours. - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis. - Ability to remember product replacement and backstock. - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, kneel, push, pull and twist repeatedly.
