The Workforce Applications Manager has overall responsibility for Kronos

  • Time and Attendance
  • Accruals
  • Advanced Scheduler
  • Extensions

This includes the Kronos system:

  • Configuration for all modules
  • New business requirements
  • System enhancements
  • UKG upgrades/version rollout

In a dynamic healthcare environment, we're seeking a versatile professional to serve as the cornerstone of our workforce management ecosystem. This role acts as a crucial bridge between various departments, including technology partners, HR, Finance, Payroll, and clinical leadership. The ideal candidate will harness data to provide strategic insights on labor and workforce management, driving informed decision-making across the organization.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will lead a small team and play a visible role in shaping our workforce management strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our workforce management platform.
  • Collaborating with HR & Payroll to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Managing the implementation and upgrades of our time and attendance system.
  • Serving as the go-to expert for timekeeping, accruals, and related modules across our healthcare network.
  • Establishing best practices and standards for workforce management processes.
  • Analyzing and recommending system changes to leadership.
  • Proactively addressing system issues and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Engaging with leadership teams to optimize workflows and reporting.
  • Liaising with external partners to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Developing and maintaining relevant policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating integrations between workforce management and other hospital systems.
  • Overseeing documentation and training materials development.
  • Managing hardware updates and inventory reconciliation.
  • Presenting new system features to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Overseeing temporary staff management within the system, including payroll processing.
  • Facilitating staff training and development.
  • Experience & Educational Requirements:

    • BS/BA degree required.
    • Approximately 3-5 years' recent experience with:
    • Kronos Dimensions / Dellboomi / Workday / Human Resource & Payroll services.
    • Prior labor management, scheduling and staffing experience highly recommended.
    • Clear understanding of internal pay policies.
    • Analytical and strategic skills to identify issues or inefficiencies and develop solutions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to collaborate and present to executive team, managers and employees.
    • Can draw conclusions and make recommendations from large and/or incomplete data sets.
    • Must have strong knowledge of general business computer system applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite).
