Overview

As the KYC Manager you will be responsible for the completion of New Client Adoption (NCA) and Review (RR) of Depositary Receipts and Corporate Trust clients. Depositary Receipts is a market leader specializing in administering cross-border equity structures such as American and Global Depositary receipts (AGM). It also offers paying agency, AGM, and advisory services for German and non-German companies listed on the German stock exchange. Corporate Trust is a market leader in providing trustee and agency services to both the short and long-term debt issuances for corporate and FI issuers.

What You'll Do

  • Working with salespersons and other internal stakeholders to understand deal structure and identify NCA target parties. Working with salesperson to perform searches on the NCA target entity and respond to any relevant hits or exceptions according to Bank's standards and requirements. Assist in liaising with clients (both internal and external) to gather all applicable NCA requirements, including tax documents, within a specified timeline.
  • Gather Client contact from Sales or CSG. Liaise with KYC Ops to kick-off the Client Outreach. Log the transaction and related KYC Parties in TAS Proprietary Sharepoint.
  • Liaise with the ACO to complete a Business Sponsor Questionnaire (BSQ).
  • Ensure adoptions stay on track by monitoring MIs, participating to prioritizing calls, etc.
  • If applicable, working with relevant internal parties for the preparation of deal sheets and coordination with various offices for internal pipeline meeting.

How You'll Lead

  • Act as a first point of escalation for KYC Ops adoption-related queries.
  • Assess any risks and manage related escalation, i.e. BRC, RAPF, Rep Risk, etc.

Skills You'll Need

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Relevant KYC experience at a comparable financial institution.
  • A good understanding of global and applicable local legal and regulatory policies and guidelines in connection with NCA and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
  • Ability to engage at all levels, including but not limited to Chief Country Officers, Risk Officers and SME (Subject Matter Experts).
  • Strong working knowledge of the Windows product suite, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York or Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.

The salary range for this position in New York is $70,000 to $185,000 and in Jacksonville is $50,000 to $155,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
