Job Summary: Collects venous and capillary blood from inpatients and outpatients on site and off site. Processes specimens to be sent to reference labs. Cleans and stocks pick-up carts and trays. Orders lab tests in the computer. Receives laboratory specimens.Job Responsibilities:* Demonstratesspecific specimen collection skills as listed and in accordance with the laboratory assistant manual.2. Demonstrates specific specimen processing skills as listed and in accordance with the laboratory assistant manual.3. Demonstrates specific laboratory outpatient skills as listed and in accordance with the laboratory assistant manual.4.
