Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Lab Associate to join our team. This role involves preparing samples for testing, cleaning glassware, assisting analysts, data entry, and training on various lab instrumentation and sequencing techniques. The position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the lab and potential for full-time employment.Responsibilities+ Prepare samples in the lab for testing.+ Clean glassware and maintain a tidy lab environment.+ Assist analysts with various tasks and provide necessary support.+ Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.+ Receive training on lab instrumentation and sequencing techniques.+ Participate in training on wet and analytical chemistry testing.Essential Skills+ Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences.+ Proficiency in data entry.+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office.+ Experience with lab preparation and sample preparation.+ Knowledge of cleaning glassware and pH measurement.+ Understanding of biology, chemistry, and pipetting techniques.+ Basic skills in chromatography and analytical chemistry.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Lab experience from academic settings.+ GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) knowledge is a plus.+ Experience with chemistry-focused testing is advantageous.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a Quality Control Laboratory at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This is a 1st shift position with flexible hours. The lab offers a family-like atmosphere and the opportunity to work on both wet and analytical testing for new pharmaceutical products.
