The Social Computational Neuroscience Laboratory (S - Co. Ne. Lab) at Adelphi University (PI: Dr. Damian Stanley) is seeking a full-time research assistant/lab manager to conduct research on social computational phenotypes in mental health supported by a grant from the NIMH. Adelphi University is located in Garden City, NY - on Long Island, just a few miles outside of New York City. Starting in January/ February 2025 (start date flexible). Research in the S - Co. Ne. Lab focuses on understanding social learning and decision-making (SLDM), including: What is unique about the neurocognitive computations that support SLDM? How is SLDM perturbed by our attitudes, beliefs, and social environment? How is SLDM uniquely impaired in psychological disorder? The lab is highly interdisciplinary, combining a wide range of techniques including: model-based analyses of behavioral and brain imaging data (f.
