Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain reagent and consumables inventory and ensure lab is stocked appropriately to support ongoing R&D work
  • Manage receipt of incoming packages and maintaining inventory order sheet
  • Maintaining equipment maintenance schedules and engaging with vendors to ensure equipment receives timely calibration and preventative maintenance
  • Engaging with vendors for non-routine maintenance or technical support
  • Support asset induction and onboarding of new equipment and software
  • Performing routine in-house maintenance work on some lab equipment
  • Reviewing and uploading vendor work into asset management database
  • Supporting the organization and digitalization of existing and future sample inventory
  • Support the drafting and review of new lab documentation including equipment Risk Based Assessments and laboratory Working Instructions
  • Help plan and execute lab relocations or expansions

Desired Education and Skills:

  • B.S degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience required
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated hands-on laboratory experience in an industry setting
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Must be willing to be onsite 5 days a week
  • Experience with computer software's (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with asset management or inventory management systems preferred
