**Description**
1. Manages all programs for laboratory including accreditation, compliance, quality management, and proficiency testing program.
2. Oversees the laboratory process improvement systems including education and training of laboratory leadership.
3. Provides compliant and efficient operations of all departments in the laboratory.
4. Provides direction and delegates assignments with Quality Improvement processes. Works with departments across the system on Quality Improvement processes.
5. Creates and implements plans including employee development and medical technology clinical rotations.
6. Builds an effective team by attracting skilled workers, effectively integrating new staff to their jobs, and developing and retaining skilled workers to meet current and future department goals and objectives.
7. Develops, implements, oversees and maintains the Laboratory Quality management Program. Creates and implements a system for monitoring key indicators of quality and maintains written quality processes and procedures and maintains document control system for the laboratory.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
