- Open sample collection supply kits
- Clean any messy specimens.
- Review of requisitions for completeness and accuracy. This includes physician information, patient demographics, and test specific information.
- Review of specimens to ensure compliance to Genova Diagnostics' specimen acceptance protocols.
- File requisitions for specimens received without appropriate paperwork.
- Organizing sample collection supply kits upon receipt.
- Order Entry into the Laboratory Information System of all required information for laboratory analysis.
- Labeling of all specimens.
- Requisition organization.
- Requisition and attachment scanning.
Other
- Adhere to company safety procedures.
- Available to work as scheduled Monday through Saturday until all sample collection supply kits are entered.
- Assist with other duties as LSS management directs.
- Works closely with all laboratory staff.
- Applies Genova values to their work.
