Wage Range: $25 - 28 per hour

What were looking for:
High School diploma or GED is required; Associate degree or BA/BS Degree in science preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in a laboratory setting and understanding of laboratory equipment required.
Microsoft Office experience required with proficiency in Word and Excel.
Covid-19 vaccination required.
Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and can act independently.
High level of customer service skills with a professional, can-do demeanor.
Requires laboratory knowledge including using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests.
Knowledge of the processes involved in documenting experiments required.
Able to lift 25 lbs.
Effective communication, both verbal and written, with customer and internal stakeholders required.
Ability to follow site protocols, policies, and procedures to stay safe, prioritize tasks, solve problems, ensure quality, and meet goals.
Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, and security clearances required.
Knowledge of Avantor products and services desired, not required.
In this role you will:
Provide direct lab support services to a customer at their facilities.
Execute laboratory support procedures and preparations (e.g. media/buffer prep, solvent/reagent mixtures, filtrations, material weighing, some physical testing, witness senior staff experiments).
Maintain lab inventory and labeling (e.g. chemical reagents, glassware, gas cylinder levels).
Verification/maintenance of laboratory equipment (e.g. balances, pH meters, sonicator cleaning, glass washing).
Operates purification equipment for manufacturing purposes according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assists with experiments to develop scaled-up purification processes.
Provides technical support for production operations.
Assists with the calibration, trouble shooting, and validation of lab equipment.
Independently reads specifications and procedures.
Maintains a laboratory notebook, testing records, or worksheets according to established laboratory and manufacturing procedures.
Excellent knowledge of production and manufacturing environment.
Knowledgeable of biological/pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills
Other duties as assigned.
