Volt is immediately hiring Lab Tech III in Maplewood with a well-known industry leader. The person will be responsible for doing physical property and testing of films and adhesives
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Chemist you will do:
Chemical mixing, coating of experimental formulations on thin films to thicker substrates.
Technician will work closely with product developers, engineers and teams.
Ability to work independently and takes direction well.
Estimated Duration up to 36- months.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelors degree in (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or related discipline)
Associates/Two Year Technical Degree with STEM background
Minimum of three (3) years laboratory, manufacturing, or testing environment experience
Ability to communicate regularly and effectively on test results and observations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour
