Laboratory Technician, Technical Development LabPlainsboro, NJ, USOn-siteDSM-Firmenich has an immediate opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Development group in the Perfumery and Beauty Division at our North America headquarters in Plainsboro, NJ. Your key responsibilitiesAs a member of the Technical Development team you will support the preparation, evaluation and data collection of next-generation profragrance (long lasting technology) samples and the specifics that go into this, which include:
- Preparation of profragrance and control samples in appropriate base(s).
- Procurement of profragrances and technical specifics from S&R colleagues.
- Coordination and planning/scheduling of panels with appropriate teams.
- Follow and build upon testing protocols and procedures.
- Record-keeping, report writing, and data presentation.

You offer - Degree in relevant or allied fields: chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, food science.
- 0-2 yrs of relevant laboratory experience in the fragrance or allied industries.
- Knowledge of chemistry principles.
- Excellent communication. Attention to detail, Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive team-player.
- Able to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects, a passion for problem-solving.
