Job Description:
A customer of Insight Global is looking for a Labor Advisor. This person will be responsible for managing a variety of human resources functions including employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will manage employee-management relations, interpret labor contracts, resolve disputes, and advise management on union-related issues, essentially acting as a liaison between the company and its unionized workforce. Previous union experience is heavily preffered as this person needs to be well-versed in union specific contracts, labor laws, and regulations. Additional responsibilities may include: contract interpretation, filing grievances, negotiations, and conflict resolution. This person should be comfortable working fully onsite in Battle Creek, MI. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
