Job Description:

Our client, a surgical tissue simulation lab, is seeking a Laboratory Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, will be team oriented, and have a high level of comprehension which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Assembly Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Pay Range: $18/hour + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift hours

What's the Job?

  • Execute tasks such as cutting and sewing with precision to assemble tissue models using pig tissue, adhering closely to instructions
  • Set up and operate production equipment and manage supplies effectively
  • Maintain quality standards by inspecting completed assemblies
  • Learn multiple assembly tasks while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity
  • Complete all required documentation and reporting accurately

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience with complex assembly tasks
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent finger dexterity for cutting, sewing, and reinforcing surgical molds made from pig tissue
  • Ability to follow all safety and production policies, including maintaining an excellent attendance record

  • Monday-Friday schedule 2nd shift hours 4pm-12:30am, must be available to train on a 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm schedule for the first ~month
