Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $90,000.00 - $137,250.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

10+ years of experience in a regulated clinical laboratory
OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The assistant administrative director's primary function is the maintaining and overseeing the point of care program for HSS. The position is highly visible and will have daily interaction with physicians, nurses and other clinical staff. The position requires knowledge of both waived and non-waived laboratory regulations pertaining to NYSDOH and the Joint Commission. Experience with all aspects of laboratory quality management systems preferred.
The position requires independent and critical thinking skills. The ability to strategize and implement performance improvements.
Working knowledge of Excel and other database tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Telchor and EDM preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
A Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related science.
EDUCATION PREFERRED
Masters, Business Administration
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIRED
NYS State Clinical Laboratory Technologist
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE PREFERRED
ASCP.
