Pride Health is hiring for a Lab Assistant to support our clients medical facility based in Calabasas Hills, CA. This is a full-time contract of 3+ months with high possibilities of extension or conversion to permanent and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position: Lab Assistant

Duration: 3+ months with possibilities of extension

Location: Calabasas Hills, CA

Shift: 1st Shift, Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Summary:

A Lab Assistant will be working in a high volume, production-based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.

Job Responsibilities:

• Label and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot any specimen-related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical/lab or production experience is preferred.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
