Your Role:

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the North America Validation Services Laboratory, working directly under the guidance of the Lab Manager. This entry-level, hands-on position is ideal for a recent graduate eager to gain practical laboratory experience in a professional setting. In this role, you will perform routine lab tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the lab, including equipment maintenance, sample handling, documentation, and compliance with safety protocols. You'll assist in managing lab inventory, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and perform essential sterilization procedures. Your work will contribute to a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the lab environment.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or other Life Science discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

* Basic knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures

* Exposure to using and maintaining laboratory equipment, such as autoclaves, pH meters, and microscopes

* Understanding of or experience with data integrity principles and ALCOA+ guidelines

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs accurately and maintain precise records

* Team-oriented with excellent communication skills to work effectively with lab teams, QA personnel, and management

* Adaptability to learn new procedures, tools, and safety protocols

* Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing practice (GMP)
