Title: Lab Manager

Location: Windham and Norwich, CT

Shift: M-F 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Salary: $85k-145k

Must Haves

• 3-5 years of experience within a Lab environment, specifically in leadership Experience in Hematology, Blood bank, Chemistry, and hematology
• Regulatory experience, preferably with performing or receiving inspections for federal requirements
• Management experience as either a lead, supervisor or manager - someone who has had direct reports in the past

Plusses

• Previous experience working with various regulations companies (CAP, DPH, or FDA)
• Lean/ASQ/CPHQ/Six Sigma Certifications

Day to Day

Insight Global is seeking a lab manager for a large healthcare client in eastern Connecticut. This individual will be managing 3 locations; Backus Hospital, Windham Hospital and Plainfield hospital.

They will be managing, coordinating and running the 3 lab locations to ensure that work flows are properly met and the labs are up to industry standards.

This individual will be spending roughly 3 days at Backus hospital and 2 days at Windham and periodically check in at the Plainfield location. The working hours are roughly 8 am - 5 pm M-F
