We are seeking candidates for an immediate fill position supporting DEVCOM CBC. This position is at APG-EA in Maryland. The Laboratory Quality Technician will oversee the quality management system for our Client's chemical and biological laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our ISO 17025 accreditation, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and reliability in our testing processes. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to team members on their work products.Roles/Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the laboratory's quality management system in compliance with ISO 17025 standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about quality standards and procedures.
- Analyze quality data and trends, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues and improve processes.
Requirements
Required Skills and Education:- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory quality role, with a focus on chemical and/or biological testing.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and their application.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience reviewing others' work and providing honest, constructive feedback.
Security Clearance:- Secret Clearance is required.
