Job Description - Laboratory Research Technician III (23009395)Laboratory Research Technician IIIMed-Pharmacology and Chemical Biology - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23009395)Dr. Fazzari is seeking a highly motivated and skilled research specialist to join his team. The research specialist will work closely with Dr. Fazzari and his team to support ongoing studies, perform laboratory experiments, and assist in data analysis. The candidate will conduct laboratory experiments in pharmacology, biochemistry, or related fields; collect, process, and analyze data; assist in the preparation and execution of research studies; maintain laboratory equipment and supplies; ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and protocols; keep accurate records of laboratory activities and collaborate with team members.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in pharmacology, biochemistry, or related fields, plus 1-2 years of lab experience with a strong understanding of laboratory techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, PCR analysis) and equipment. Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and cell culture assays; familiarity with animal handling and experimentation; familiarity with data analysis software and tools; ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent organizational/communication skills; attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multitask and prioritize tasks; and having knowledge of HPLC-MS preferred but not required.Job Summary:Performs a variety of independent laboratory work and experiments such as determining experimental protocols and preparation of specimens and cultures. Prepares reports of findings subsequent to compilation and analysis. Oversees specimen inventory.
