Laboratory Site Manager Who You Are: As the Laboratory Site Manager at Monadnock Community Hospital, you are a dedicated and experienced laboratory professional with a passion for clinical excellence and a strong background in laboratory operations. You possess leadership skills and the ability to mentor staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and budget guidelines.
What You'll Do: - Manage the operational responsibilities of the clinical laboratory, including Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Services.
- Facilitate quality assurance and continuous improvement activities within the lab.
- Coordinate lab schedules and daily staff assignments to maximize productivity.
- Maintain compliance with documentation and safety standards, updating lab protocols as necessary.
- Interact with physicians, hospital staff, and patients to address service complaints and operational issues.
- Implement appropriate test methodologies in collaboration with the Laboratory Director.
- Evaluate staff competency and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Oversee the development and monitoring of operational and capital budgets.
Qualifications What You'll Bring: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a clinical laboratory leadership position.
- MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP)cm certification.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in keyboarding and computer skills.
- A commitment to safety and compliance in laboratory operations.
